Greys Studio

This page shows the progress of the front right corner of the live room. There's nothing special about this corner compared to the other corners of the Live Room, we just happened to have three nice progresive pictures of this corner. This page also shows the progress of the "stairwell wall", from paneling to foil and partial drywal. There's a picture of the finished wall on the first page.

Here Dan is framing the front right corner of the Live room. All the paneling is done in the Live Room here.

Here dan is admiring the work done to the corner. :) This corner was the first part of the studio to have drywall mounted on resillient channel.

The corner is done! NEXT!!

The pictures kind of bounce around chronically, sorry about that. Here you see the stairwell wall still with only a partial layer of particle wood. You can see the stringers and insulation underneath. We used cut-offs on the first layer here. Why not? We don't want to waste material, and afterall, it's just the first layer, we're really good at caulking. :)

Here's another one of the fun foil pictures. On the stairwell wall (the one directly to the left) you can see it's fully covered in foil. In the background you can see me applying wallpaper paste to the west wall of the "Air-lock Room", as we've come to call it, to ready it for foil.

Here you can see the stairwell wall has partial drywall. You can see the resillient channel on top of the foil. To the right you can see the Air-lock Room is all drywalled.
