If
you missed update 4
check it out first.
We
have been tied up with additional things such as building a
verandah extension to the front of the building. We needed to
do this to protect the new Tasmaian Oak floor we have just put
down from the weather. We had a bit of rain for a couple of
weeks. The verandah is 9m x 4m (36' x 13')

OK,
so the first of the slots has been built. These are timber slats
of sizes 35mm, 45mm, 55mm with varying gaps due to the gradual
increase in the angle (1 degree) They have a cream cloth backing
made from Hemp Cloth and are built over the 75mm (3') cavity
in the wall.
........
We
have also started adding them to the control room
........
You
can see we now have a new floor. It's Tasmanian Oak hardwood
sitting in battens on rubber with insulation in the cavity to
stop resonance. This is a shot of the rear of the control room.
......
The
speaker mounts have been put in place. Here is Amirel in front
of the speaker soffit mounting.

More
to Come!!
Cheers
