Hello everybody,

I´m planning an iso booth for recording, vocals, guitars an drums.
The walls are double studs with two layers sheetrock outside.
For the acoustic treatment I want to build in the two broadband slot resonators.
The rest of the walls will be cover with Rockwool and cloth.
Would this work? Has anybody other ideas?
Sorry for my bad english best regards

Sebastian

What are the dimensions of this proposed room?

Hey friend, I haven't forgot about your project, just a little covered up right now...in a day or so...ok?

Oh, and it would be more helpful if we had the interior dimensions of the room, not the out side ones.

Thanks for your understanding.

Tell us more about the floor construction, and the ceiling. Is that going to be a double ceiling as well, that matches the wall assembly.

How does it fit in the room...what is the room it is going to fit in?

Hello,

sorry for my late answer.

The walls are double studs STC 63 with two layers off a very heavy gypsum outside.
The two angled walls are broadband slot absorbers. The rest of the walls will be covered with rockwool and cloth.
The floor is a frame with calculated sylomer strips, the gaps will be filled up with rockwool.
On that "basement" I want to lay two layers of 15mm OSB. In the inside of the booth I want to fill up the floor with 5 cm sand and want to cloth this with an other layer of 15mm OSB.
The ceilling will be build with a STC63 double stud construction too. Inside I want to hang some acoustic hangers with different depth under this construction.
I hope my description is understandable.

Best regards

Sebastian
