I'm just wondering if anybody has thought about using LED lighting schemes in a studio. You could have the room in just about any color you want to set the mood.

I have them installed in my studio, and I have to say, the quality and amount of light is not good enough for working in. As a mood enhancement, particularly when being musically creative, and even tracking, they are ideal. Even during mixing - when listening back they can be conducive to the session.
My main lighting are 12 halogen spots - switched on 3 separate circuits (no dimmers). The LEDs are on a fourth circuit.
You may notice when using programmable colouring, there is a tendency to flimmering with a lot of the commercial products.

im using all leds in my studio, control room looks great all on dimmers, with all the new styles out there floods are great to see with. Not to mention the savings on the energy bill. That alone makes it worth it.They have my vote. Just my opinion
