I just love that diagonal design on the soffits, Moemedi! Very bold.

The room looks great. Congratulations!

Personally, I wouldn't paint those black: I think the natural varnished wood looks just fine. But that's just my personal preference. It's your room, and if you like black, then go with black. So far, your design choices and color schemes are working out great. At least, I think they are great.

Anyway, how about telling us how the room SOUNDS? If it sounds as good as it looks, then it must be pretty neat!

Hey Guys

Sorry, i have been really busy for the past few weeks, working at the farm. Rains have been coming down so I have been ploughing and planting maize at the farm. Really excited about that because its my first time i am farming.

Gents the Studio is Massive, the studio sounds great, we have been testing the recording booth, the sounds sounds great. I dont know what to say. They have managed to put in the sliding doors and the booth works nicely. Its really amazing how from an empty room, we have managed to creat an outstanding recording studio. THe doors we built leading to the passage into the rest of the building works wonders, its like we are not even working when we have the doors closed. I havent had time to paint the area that i asked about, just been so busy at the farm.

Thanks Guys. Thanks JOhn, Glenn, EVERONE, :D you are the best GUYS :D

Glad that to others that are starting its an inspiration.

Later, send some pics of the doors soon

That wood work is very very cool. It's really amazing how depending on locality that sensibility is reflected in your designs. Nice work sir! :D

year Hi everyone, I hope that you are all well.

I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a fruitful 2009. THis year has been a great year from me because a dream of having a studio came true thats to this Website, Johnlsayers.com, John, Glenn and everyone who gave support in this long journey. It has been fun and fulfilling to see an empty room turn into such a beautiful place to be. It is really exciting to see this every day. For those that will start building or currently building, never ever give up, just keep the strength, even if it bits hard on the pocket, keep with it.

We have started recording and it really sounds nice. my nephew love it and loves being there, he is only 8 years so he wanted to feature in a song, so we put him in the booth, check him out. i love everything about this studio and i am sure that we will continue to make some nice music from here. As soon as I have some thing ready, i will have it up for a sample of what kind of African music we are into.

Have fun during the holidays and enjoy life, keep positive and keep giving and dont stop saying thank you. THank you John, Glenn and THe new Family around the world

ONE LOVE

MOEMEDI
