Didn't even noticed I had replies! Thanks guys.
It's indeed coming along nicely. Making good progress.
Allready fixed about 70% of the electric wiring.
Tomorrow I start putting isolation in the framing.

Also a big thanks to Glenn who's been a big help to me. You'll see soon enough why :D

And today I had another amazing surprise (after Glenn allready helping me out a lot!). Was at family today and he gave me 13.5 square meters of high quality natural stone tiles. These will fit really nice on the terras in front of the studio... this was luck since the worth new probally is around 1000 euros :yahoo:

Update.
Got a lot of the insulation done yesterday, it was actually more work than I expected. But I eventually got to the point for what I aimed to do. Als moved the gypsum boards so I have space to finish framing on my control room and closet. That's my target for this week actually.

Attached is also the control room plan, since I was struggling with the small (but cozy) space for the control room Glenn helped me out on that.

I'm actually really happy with the progress, and it seems it's getting better and better each step. Hopefully in 2 months I can put all my stuff in there.

In need of help. I need liner for my silencer. "duct-liner" is something not available in europe, or atleast I can't find it. I'm actually just thinking of filling it with 50mm glasswool, and cover it in plastic so the particals won't get in the airflow. But with that option it's not really "fire-safe".

HELP! :|

@ Useg - Thanks man, I haven't been on this work for long. I just started building en constructing for myself about 2 years ago, it's amazing what you can learn once you just do it!

About halfway down this page:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=13187&start=30
Someone (from Groningen..:-) ) used something called Isofix...
Don't know if it works properly though.
Maybe you could ask him...

Isover insulation is available in europe incl. Netherlands. So should Knauf products.

Hey! Thanks.. I was allready thinking of maybe using that stuff when visiting the gamma yesterday..

Another possibility, what I thought would be this: http://www.aixfoam.de/cgi-bin/shop/apps ... SH_ELID=en
I have the stuff which has "Fire classification FAR 25.853 with test certificate from Lufthansa Technology Laboratories". So that might work?!

I still have a few pieces here which would be enough to get everything lined..

Get in touch with the places that sale air con materials in your neck of the woods, they can help you.

Thanks! Last month was hectic, most weeks I made 50+ hours on the office, and helping out in the newly acquired church building left me little time to work on my build. :horse:
This month I have more time to work on the build, and so I did allready. I feel like I'm still learning. Doing it by yourself is a lot of work, thankfully I have a skilled uncle which helped me really well underway on the first things. Just by watching him makes me learn stuff. At a certain point I took over myself. I will probally take 2 or 3 amount the time a professional would, but I don't care about that.

Has been long since the last update. I added a tube with cables from my house (where my meter, gas, tv, internet is located) to the studio (60meter). Closed the trench for this tube & electricity cable. Finished all the glasswool work, and cleaned! Installed boxes for the spots, pulled all the wires.

Crappy cellphone pics...

Getting regular flex duct (aluminium) and putting insulation around it myself, is that a problem or will that also work? Hopefully somebody can help me.

Spend the whole night working on the electrics, and putting plastic against the wall for a vapor barrier.

BTW. I got Isover 602 for the silencer, installing it this week.

Again, really crappy cellphone pics! But it works to get the idea across.
Have all the walls covered with a vapor barrier, just simple 1.2mm thick plastic.

Tommorrow night I hope to finish the first layer of gb, caulk up everything, and saturday I will continue with the ceiling.
Finally I get a glimpse of what the room will become. This is most definatelly not the biggest or most luxorious place on this forum, but I'm really happy with how it's coming together and shaping up! I'm very proud/honoured/happy that I'm in the position to be able to create something like this, and get a lot of help from this forum and input from many members, thanks to you all!
