Some more work photos,

ex hospital solid fire doors with a plastic protective coating on one side

I plan to add either a sheet of 8mm or 12mm mdf to the studio side unless any one can suggest something better at a similar price point
I can vouch that they are pretty solid and very heavy

Here's a few more photos can anyone post some links for the seals I should use for these doors?

Here's my small wet room tiled, no door hung yet was hoping I would be on a demolition job so I could grab a door,

Plastering has dried out nicely

Final picture is my 2 sheets of 10mm laminate glass for my viewing window between control room and as yet not built tracking room

Started fitting the 10mm laminated glass

After filling up the cavity all round I then put little bags of silica gel in the cavity in case of condensation, and covered with some 6mm thick fibreboard insulation with a couple of beads of acoustic sealant to hold in place,

Image

stone side of the window frame all sealed up with acoustic sealant

Image

some purple material to cover the gap in between the 2 panels of glass

My Daikin aircon is fitted and has made such a difference now there's a bit of heat in the room,
The install was very neat, a 65mm diameter hole was drilled through the wall :( but this was sleeved and then once the pipes etc were pushed through was caulked up completely inside and outside, then some more caulk before the 'boxing glove' was fixed,

Here's a few pictures of the internal and external unit, once I build my live room there will be another external unit fixed above the first one and another internal unit in the new room, as for noise of the internal unit I really struggle to hear it when it's running on economy and I'm standing in the room with complete silence, wether a mic will pick it up when recording, I don't know but so far I'm very happy :D

Have painted the concrete floor with a 2 part waterproof paint that dries as hard as a resin, each coat is the same just different colours so its easy to see where you've already painted
