Hi,

Thanks for all the good informations you provide here first.

My room is 2.35m (H) x 3.71m (W) x 6.3m (D),this is the inner space after the floating wall and ceiling.
I tried superchunk before and didn't like the sound I got (not hated it, just felt there is room to improve)
So this time I went the Flush-mounting and hanger route, I measure it while I built it, in case I didn't like the sound. I have pipes at one back corner and back half ceiling, so I use the other corner in the back for HVAC baffle, leave me only two front corner to deal with bass.

The thing I want to share here is:

At the pictures you will find I left two little hole at the front speaker baffle, those are originally for cool air (for the speaker). And while I measure the system, I felt the whole thing still sounds like the superchunk, so, I took the rockwool off one piece at a time, and found actually taking off the rockwool from those corner improved the overall (improve even more on low!!)EDT/T20/T30/T60. And the whole thing actually sound better( to me and my fellows), and different combination produce different sound and measurement results !!

I think this is a great tuning possibility, don't forgot to play with it before you seal the front baffle!!

File comment: There are four grid to put rockwool boards in, two on top, and two at the bottom, I use these to try different combinations.

from an RT20 and reflection control perspective it is nearly there but you need more LF trapping to get the RT60 down. some of the nulls are very sharp so some EQ tweaks may help but the larger-wider modes look like you still need more absorption - probably the ceiling and the back wall and angled side panels (traps?) on the back.

Thank you so much gullfo!

The middle(1/2 Room length) of my side walls are both empty right now, and I found 107Hz and 180Hz peaks significantly around these area, do you think it's wise to put slat-absorber here? Will it also a possible cure for the 67Hz dip?

Best,
