Hai Bryan :)

Funny, I see more and more peeps comming back to this forum after being absent for... too damn long!
Love to see what yer gonna cook up for ye next room

Nothing fancy. 2 pairs of soffit mounted speakers (for one) some Big Monitors and my near fields. Going with a surround sound room. A Lot more room for comfort. WIsh I had 3 additional feet in width though. But. HEY!!. LOL.

We just finished clearing the control room half of the basement. Now for the live room.

Looking forward to this build. A lot wiser this time.

Greetings All,

Yep, still here. I've been so busy the last couple years, including getting engaged, I'm not here as often as I would like to be. I haven't done much construction this past year, but I'm actually the past few weeks, slowly been trying to do some more construction on the studio. Yeah, I know. It's been 6 years I've been working on this studio

And I have so many pics I need to add too. I was actually laying some tile down this weekend in the back room where I'll have some storage area for just stuff.

I'll try and find some time in the coming weeks to go through and find the pictures, and get them uploaded. One of my tracking rooms is currently filled with my Fiances stuff right now, until we can go through stuff and figure out what to keep, get rid of, or find a place to put it.

Anyways, Thanks for reviving the thread. I'm actually looking forward to updating the posts here and update everyone on the status.

Aaron

Hey Aaron. Always glad to see yah around. Been married this go round for 7 years and LOVING IT!!! Had to marry 2 idiots to figure out I was an idiot so I could get with a gem. LOL. It helps when your wife is a singer....

I'll grab some photos for this build. Wont be deep. I have always persued the simple, effective, inexpensive and efficient.

I was listening to some mixes done in my old room. WOW they were ULTRA PHAT!!!!

Retrain your wife. LOL.

My wife retrained me and now I will spend next to nothing to do everything. LOL.

Here's with the paneling completed...

I think these pictures are actually from just before I sanded and did a final coat. They are NOT this shiny on the final coat...Plus the lighting was bright...
