Would this be as effective as Green Glue? Seems to be cheaper. Any experience with this?

I haven't seen this QuietGlue product before, although I'm quite familiar with the other QuietSolution products. It does appear to be a competitor of Green Glue, and its pricing does appear to be less expensive. At the moment it's about $11.66 per tube, vs. 14.79 per tube for Green Glue.

Even QuietGlue's Application Notes indicate that it is appropriate for do-it-yourselfers. Clearly, they're trying to go head-to-head with Green Glue on this product.

It's interesting, and competition is a good thing. However, after looking at all the documentation that QuietSolutions (a company we often disregard around here due to their overpriced and overhyped products) has published about it, I have to say Green Glue's documentation on their site is more convincing. I don't see any independent lab test reports for this product on the QuietSolutions site (yet).

For that reason alone, I would have to recommend sticking (no pun intended) with "the original," Green Glue. I may change my mind if QuietSolutions publishes credible independent lab reports in the future.
