Hi "cars111".

my room is bedroom 2
Best place for monitors: At the far end of the room, facing towards the door.

Floor to ceiling, placed diagonally across the corners, at least 24" wide.

Depends on what you are trying to accomplish! But assuming this is a CR, at the very least you will need treatment on the first reflection points, a cloud on the ceiling, and absorption on the rear wall (where the door is).

At the points on the walls and ceiling where the waves from your speakers FIRST REFLECT and bounce back towards your listening position. Search the forum to find out how to locate those points.

Quote:

Absorption only. That room is way too small for typical diffusers to be of any use, and your modal issues will be at frequencies that are way to low to be treatable with diffusion.

Above your desk and listening position.

As big as you need! :) That depends on numerous factors, mainly based on the dimensions and intended use of the room, and the speaker/listening position geometry, and the design basis for the room.

Quote:

As big as possible! But that also depends on the room dimensions, purpose of the room, etc.

Please check the forum posting rules: that explains the type of information that you need to provide in order to get good help here.
