Indeed, you're very lucky that fire was squelched before it damaged your home and/or studio in which you've invested your blood, sweat, and tears! :D

Glad to hear you're getting a camera (a digital camera, I presume). :) Good thing -- I was getting ready to take up a collection for you! ;-)

In all seriousness... I remember what a pain it was in the past to take pictures on an ordinary camera, the hassles dropping off the film for developing, picking up the prints, scanning the images into the computer, etc., etc., and I'm sure I'm not alone in appreciating the efforts... All so we can learn! 8) Thanks man. :)

Thanks.

Well, I've taken the plunge. Bought a Digital Camera! So expect to see a whole lot more pix, and a lot less text...

I sure wish I had this thing 2 years ago. There would be a lot more details in the CR construction.

Anyway, Just gotta download the latest and shrink 'em down. I'll have some posted here in awhile.

Nice pix! Congrats on the digital camera!

Can we get a close-up of what looks like a home-made resilient mounting bracket at the top of your back wall?

There is one about 15 or 20 pages back, but I'll show a close up detailed picture of the mount and the process it took to assemble. I'll do that tonight if I get a chance.

I haven't checked in on your thread in a while - good to see you're back on track Aaron.

Thanks Phil,

Yeah, been busy. It's been hectic around here at the office, and trying to stay busy at the house w/ the studio. Trying to get the core/prep stuff done so I can continue w/ the construction. It's all the small tedious stuff that takes time, money and energy. I'm just trying not to get to far ahead of myself before thinking it through.

Hope you've been well. Haven't decided yet, but I may try and go out to Southern UT again next summer w/ some friends. Just in the rough conversation stage now. I'll let you know if I head out that way again. Had a blast going through MOAB, Arches National Park, 4 corners, and Mesa Verde back in August.

Well, gotta run. I'll chat later... :D

OK,

I took detailed pix of the custom mount bracket, but...I forgot the cable to upload them. Doah!

We'll try tomorrow.

Here's the latest...went and picked up more electrical supplies last night. Some 3/4" conduit, etc. I've got lots to do...
