I went trough the search, looking for an advise on how to raise my speakers.

I need to raise them 12cm (4,7") so they are "Tweeter in ear height" as recommended by the manufacturer, Just thinking if there are any Dont do's in raising them. Is wood good/bad ? are bricks better/worse?

Thanks for all input :)

mass will do the trick. You can lift your stand and monitors together by putting them on a bricks or alike. Or make new stands out of concrete for example :)

actually I moved the speakers on my desk, so I'm just raising them off the desk itself :)

That works :)
But putting them on stands BEHIND the desk might even improve all :)
