Hi guys,
Does anybody know if the ADAM S3-A's are optimized for a particular room positioning? Soffit mounting, far from walls, doesn't matter, etc.

I'm kicking around different room design ideas, and these speakers are likely candidates.

Sorry, for the delay in responding to your post.

As with most any front ported speaker, I think the S3 would benefit from soffit mounting. But you'll need something like my Baffle Step Decompensation Filter to accurately level out the low frequency response.

I think I saw a post on gearslutz, where the US distributor said, that he knew of noone, who soffited S3As. Did you know, that a lot of people prefer them in vertical position oposed to the standard horizontal?

Actually Dr. Heinz talks about free standing being better but states that each room is different. I also have the S-3A's and am trying to figure out wtf to put the sub

Wish you the best of luck
