Greetings all,

Over in my design thread I'm contemplating using inside-out walls.

I'm having a hard time visualizing how inside-out walls (and ceilings) would connect together and maintain airtightness.

Does anyone have a diagram of the joinery, preferably of a tricorner?

One more question, though: by "seal" do you mean caulk?

Another question: what if the left-hand wall in your diagram is also of the inside-out design?

Can you make all the walls -- and the ceiling, for that matter -- inside-out and get it together easily?

to seal i think you should use backer rod, then caulk

yes - it's been done many times. Check out sideshow's Kangaroo studios in this forum, or left bank studios.

Excellent, thanks John.

I couldn't see much detail in the photos for the Left Bank construction, but in the Sideshow thread, the following pics have been most helpful for me to really grok this:
