John Sayers has been building and designing
recording studios for over thirty years.

John Sayers has designed the following studios:

Blue Bear Sound was designed for Bruce Valeriani in Ottawa - Canada,

It's construction is fully featured in the Studios under Construction site.

Sonar Studios was designed for Len Jones in Ireland. This is the typical Garage studio design.

In 1994 Music Farm had a complete refurbishment of the interiors and the exteriors. Now with pure new wool acoustics specially built for Olivia Newton John's "Ghia" album under new owner Eric Roberts.


Music Farm

 The Famous Music Farm Studios at Byron Bay. Multitrack country style recording studio with beautiful rosewood finish. Many hours spent over the console in this place. It also had a great accommodation building. One of the great Australian studios. After closing in 1993 it is now up and going again.

 Multitrack recording studio for Parris and Liz out at Wyong. Large control room with both live and dead studios. Great place to stay!

Flying Fox

This shows you the stages of building a Garage Studio.

Control room with two studios for that wonderful nude bootscooter in Wagga Wagga. This is a classic garage studio!! and the photos show the conversion sequence. Grant has produced some wonderful professional sound from this studio.

 Built for Paul Goodwin in the early 80's this studio won Paul many Oz and International Radio Production awards.This is the classic "studio in the bedroom" in a standard house.


Trafalgar Studios

 The First! Now called Electric Avenue. Originally designed by Jack Metcalf. Control room rebuilt in 1974 after my first trip to the US. I Rebuilt it again around 1980 extending the control room size. This studio was the testing ground for all my developments and is still one of Australia's great studios
